Details that help you choose
Add a touch of metallic elegance to your smaller windows while blocking unwanted glare and maintaining your home's privacy.
Sophisticated Floral Gold Foil Design
Most kitchen valances are plain, but this panel features a delicate gold foil floral shadow pattern that catches the light beautifully. The botanical print on a clean white background brings a modern aesthetic to your space without being overwhelming. The scalloped bottom edge adds a soft, decorative curve that breaks up the hard lines of window frames, making it a great fit for kitchens, bathrooms, or even a nursery.
Triple Weave Blackout Technology
Unlike standard thin valances, this panel is constructed with NICETOWN's signature triple-weave technology. This includes a middle layer of high-density black yarn that effectively blocks out harsh sunlight. If you have a kitchen window that gets direct afternoon sun, this valance helps cut down the heat and protects your cabinets and countertops from fading. It also provides an extra layer of insulation to help manage energy costs in smaller rooms.
Dimensions and Easy Installation
Each package includes one panel measuring 42 inches wide by 18 inches long. The 3-inch rod pocket is designed to slide easily onto most standard curtain rods or decorative poles, allowing for a quick setup. The high-density fabric has a nice "drop," meaning it hangs naturally without looking stiff or wrinkled right out of the box.
Privacy Where You Need It Most
For ground-floor residents or those with windows facing the street, privacy is a major concern. This valance offers a practical solution by covering the top portion of your window, blocking the view from outside while still allowing you to see out the bottom if you choose not to pair it with full tiers. It's an ideal choice for bathroom windows where you need light but want to ensure nobody can see in.
Care Instructions
Keeping these curtains looking fresh is simple. They are machine washable in cold water on a gentle cycle. Use only non-chlorine bleach when needed. Tumble dry on low heat and use a cool iron on the reverse side to smooth out any fold lines from shipping. The gold foil is durable and designed to stay vibrant even after cleaning, provided you follow these basic care steps.
